• September 11, 2024 - Bobcat Shuttle Game Day Service Adjustments, Thursday, September 12

  On Thursday, September 12, 2024, the Bobcat Shuttle will operate a modified schedule to support Athletics and Parking Services. 

  Thursday Detours

  Route 10 – UFCU Stadium and Route 50 – Night East:

  • UFCU Stadium West bus stops will be closed. 
  • Please use the UFCU Stadium East, Lyndon, Summit, or Uptown Square bus stops.
  • People parking at the grass lot on Thorpe Lane Lot should use the Summit bus stop. 

  Route 12 – Bobcat Village, Route 45 – Campus Connector, and Route 55 – Night Connector: 

  • The UEC bus stop will be closed.
  • Please use the Sewell Park bus stop.

  Additional capacity will be added to Route 10 – UFCU Stadium and Route 12 – Bobcat Village to accommodate additional passengers.

  Gameday shuttle service will start at 3:30 p.m. and end one hour after the game.

• August 23, 2024 - Bobcat Shuttle Service Changes

  Regular Bobcat Shuttle Service begins Monday, August 26

  The Bobcat Shuttle is happy to announce there will be eleven brand new buses on campus this year!  Keep an eye out for the four 60’ “bendy” buses!

  To accommodate the new buses, construction, and campus growth, some changes have been made.  Below is a list of changes, and full routes and schedules can be found at Bobcat Shuttle Route Maps & Schedules or on the Bobcat Shuttle calendar. Please note that there is no Bobcat Shuttle service on Sundays. 

  Route Changes:

  • Route 10 – UCFU Stadium has been renamed from Bobcat Stadium and will stop at the fourth bay at THH bus hub.
  • Route 15 - West Loop will stop at the Rec Center and Bexar Hall. 
  • Route 20 – Aquarena Springs will stop on campus at the Tower bus stop.
  • Route 26 – Wonder World will stop on campus at the first bay at THH bus hub and will temporarily serve the Holiday Inn bus stop.
  • CARTS Interurban bus service will stop at the third bay at THH bus hub.

  Stop Changes:

  • Water Tower and Speck Garage bus stops have reopened!
  • James St and Ingram bus stops are closed due to construction.
  • Bobcat Stadium East and West have been renamed to UFCU Stadium East and West.  
  • The UAC bus hub has been renamed to the THH bus hub.

• August 23, 2024 - Arranging for Charter Bus Service

  Transdev, the university’s Bobcat Shuttle operator, offers charter bus service to departments and organizations at Texas State University. The Transdev fleet consists of El Dorado National XHF buses with a seating capacity of 40. All buses are wheelchair accessible. 

  If you would like to arrange for a departmental charter, Transdev will be happy to assist you in booking an event and providing a cost for the service. Charters that conflict with regular Bobcat Shuttle service may not be available. 

  Additional charter service must be contracted directly with Transdev. Please allow sufficient lead-time to ensure availability. All university procurement guidelines must be followed, and payment is required within 30 days of receiving the invoice.
